Kingsville Tourism and Economic Development Conference

The keynote speakers are Brock Dickinson and Corey Poirier. Brock is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo. His presentation ‘Making Mountains from Molehills – Turning Local Attractions into Global Assets’ will help participants understand the fine art of turning nothing into something and making tourism mountains out of molehills. Corey Poirier is a multiple-time TEDx, MoMondays and PMx Speaker, host of the top rated ‘Conversations with PASSION’ radio show and a columnist with Entrepreneur and Forbes magazine. During his talk Corey will discuss ‘Surviving and Thriving in a New Economy’ and the importance of entrepreneurial thinking in relation to economic development.
