Community Economic Development Manager
2 Year Contract Position

Successful candidates will have knowledge of and be involved in all aspects of community development with a focus on economic strategic planning and community visioning. Specific areas and duties include: Implementation of the Schreiber Community Revitalization Plan, mentoring, facilitating committee work, grant applications, business retention and expansion, industry attraction and promotion, green energy projects, tourism and festival development, recreation/sporting events, and involvement with local, regional and economic development agencies.

Candidates will have a degree or diploma from a post secondary institution in Business, Economics, Marketing, Economic Development or a related discipline and at least three years of practical experience.

The successful candidates will posses excellent oral and written skills. Creativity, innovation, leadership, and organizational skills are also a must.

Salary Range is $60,000 - $75,000 plus comprehensive health and retirement benefits.
