 EDCO is a dynamic organization of almost 600 members actively engaged in the economic development profession in Ontario.

 The EDCO website is just one of the many tools that EDCO members enjoy as part of their membership. I trust that this website will assist you to take advantage of the most valuable part of EDCO membership - connecting with other economic development professionals and suppliers across the province.

 EDCO's goals are focused in five areas:

• To provide a forum for economic development related educational activities.

• To increase the profile of the Economic Developers Council of Ontario and the profession.
• To encourage and create an awareness of economic development issues with relevant government agencies.
• To promote and develop Ontario as a premier location for economic activity by increasing employment and prosperity and enhancing the quality of life within the municipalities comprising the Province of Ontario.

Your board will continue to work on providing programs and services that fulfill these goals including working closely with our partners in the provincial government to create a vibrant and growing economy.
